He is a public health professional with over two decades of experience at the national (India) and international level (Asia and Pacific) in the field of child health, maternal health, family planning, sexual health, immunization, reproductive health, HIV/ AIDS, HIV-TB, humanitarian response, COVID-19 vaccination.

He has completed an Executive Leadership Program from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (India). He has done his Master in Business Administration and has also completed Post Graduate (PG) in Health Management and a PG in Epidemiology.
